Two-thirds of GPs hit with governance-related fines or sanctions in the last two years
According to a report by Ocorian and Bovill Newgate, based on a survey of more than 100 alternative fund managers globally, two thirds (65%) of alternative fund managers admit to being subject to governance-related fines or sanctions during the last two years.
Furthermore, an additional 12% have received an information request or visit from the regulator in the last two years.
Increasing focus: While 70% of respondents said their organisation has already increased its focus on governance during the past two years, 90% expect to deepen their attention to governance over the next 24 months.
