According to new research, more than a third of private capital fund managers admit to a last-minute approach to handling regulatory changes.
The findings come from CSC’s SPV Global Outlook 2024 report, which includes insights from a survey of 400 private capital market professionals globally.
It found that 60% of survey respondents said they proactively identify and plan for upcoming regulatory changes in advance, while 34% leave regulatory planning to the last minute.
The ‘leave it to the last minute’ camp was largest in North America, where 42% of respondents said they leave regulation planning until just before they come into effect.
