Alice Murray has been reporting on the private equity market for 15 years and has built an impressive network as well as deep knowledge of the sector. She first focused on the European mid-market, covering deal and fundraising activity as reporter for Real Deals. She went on to join unquote” as Features Editor, continuing her focus on European mid-market deals and fundraising.
In 2017, Alice established The Drawdown, the first European-focused content and events platform dedicated to operational professionals. In 2019, she partnered the title with Real Deals Media and thanks to its impressive subscription and sponsorship revenues, attracted a multi-million growth capital investment.
Having built and developed The Drawdown into a successful business, Alice is using her learnings and experience to build The Line, which she believes is the next evolution of information sharing and community offering for the private capital fund operational professionals.
